Playdough Parta

Gracie had been asking to get her playdough out for a couple weeks.. (p.s. I hate playdough..with a passion) She has all kinds of stamps and little tools and machines. She loves it! Of course she wants mommy to play so I do...well...I try to play but Im too busy picking up all the little pieces everywhere.....cleaning the little tools with a thousand crevices....making sure we don't mix colors, I hardly call it playing. lol. Her new favorite tool--> the scissors! That girl loves to cut! all and all we had a fun evening playing playdough, I can't promise there will be another playdough session anytime soon.

This is exactly how I found her. I just hope she doesn't spend hours on the toilet like daddy. TMI?....oh well.

Friday Night Fun

Usually on friday nights we go to Mansfield or Marion....we are always on a mission but not tonight. We are just chillin with the little lady tonight :) Daddy worked last night so while daddy was sleeping....mommy and Gracie were playing :)

We read books, colored, watched a movie, and of course took pictures :) She looks so cute pretend sleeping...lol. When daddy woke up we grabbed a bite to eat and continued on our lazy friday night :)

Hello?

So yesterday we had no school, some kind of in service day so YES!--I don't have to be into work until 3pm and Gracie has no school...can we say Sleep Time For Mommy!!! Everything was going as planned and I thought for sure Gracie will sleep ti 830 or 9. wrongo!!! I wake up at 715am and see Gracie sitting beside my bed....my cell phone in her hand....punching away at the buttons. "Gracie ....what are you doing!?" and I snatch my phone (still half in dreamland). She crawls in bed with me and starts yelling "cartoons! cartoons!" So the cartoons come on and I look at my phone and I have a missed call from my brother (In Virginia) so immediately I call him back all worried because he never calls me that early and he answers "Is everything ok?" ........Apparently when Gracie was "playing" with mommys phone she called my brother and scared him to death because he picked up when Gracie called and there was dead air on the other end. So I assured him everyone was fine and that miss Gracie had taken control of my cell phone..lol. From now on.....cell phone get put up.....on a high shelf.

Welcome to Gracie Tails~~! This blog is not my first but definetly the first one Ive been excited about! Gracie Lynn is my 3 yr old daughter who is always doing little funny things that I am sharing with everyone so why not start a blog about my little turkey!! Her dad started calling her turkey when she was little and it kinda stuck. :) Everyone tells me how beautiful Gracie is and how I should put her in modeling or pageants, but to be honest I just want Gracie to have a normal, happy life, full of family and friends that care about her and love her.

I take tons of pictures so this blog with be flooded with them...who doesn't love pictures right? I will tell you stories about the places we visit, the things we see, and everything in between that makes our Gracie Lynn smile :)
